STORM DAMAGE RESPONSE UPDATE
City of Monroe Department of Public Services crews are responding to storm damage throughout the community.

Crews are currently prioritizing urgent safety needs, including opening blocked roads, clearing blocked driveways, and addressing trees that have fallen on homes. Additional cleanup efforts will continue after these immediate priorities are addressed.

The City is also developing a plan to assist residents with brush cleanup, including possible curbside pickup. More information about this effort will be shared on Monday, July 6.

At this time, no injuries have been reported. Reported impacts have been limited to property damage.

Residents are reminded to stay away from downed power lines and report them directly to DTE at 800-477-4747.

To report storm damage, downed limbs, or concerns related to a City-owned tree, please use the MyMonroe reporting app. Staff are also checking messages left at 734-384-9126.

Thank you for your patience as City crews continue working throughout the community.
