Annual River Raisin Clean Up
Posted on 07/11/2018
The City of Monroe will be hosting the annual River Raisin Clean-Up Day on Saturday, July 21, 2018, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Soldiers and Sailors Park Pavilion on East Front Street. Volunteer Clean-Up Days are organized by the City of Monroe Commission on the Environment every late summer or early fall.

River Raisin clean up days take place in many of the communities along the Raisin’s winding shores. Volunteers are always needed for this community pride project, and can work all day or just part of the day.

FLAT BOTTOM BOATS WELCOME for debris collection.

Light, medium, and heavy duty jobs will be available for individuals, families, teams, organizations and businesses to lend a hand clearing the river of debris. Supplies including gloves and boots will be provided.  Lunch is also served after the clean-up to all participants.
