The City also provides life insurance, as well as deferred compensation programs and tax-free reimbursement accounts.  Please keep us in mind when you are looking for a great career opportunity. Our current job openings are linked below.

The Human Resources Department provides services related to employee relations, recruitment, testing and screening, policies and procedures, benefits and compensation, training and development, leave administration, conflict resolution and grievance handling, labor relations, safety and health, employee assistance and a host of employee services. Through this web site, we strive to provide relevant information whether you are interested in a career with the city, are an existing city employee, or one of our retirees.

Working for city government is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to share with other city employees the rewarding experience of providing meaningful services to our great community. City government offers a variety of opportunities within each department. Each day presents an opportunity not only to serve, but also to thrive in an environment that challenges one's ability to achieve, learn, and grow. We hope the information you find here will be helpful.

If you are a current city employee or are in the process of becoming one, we extend our best wishes for a successful career with the City of Monroe.
