Welcome to the Monroe Public Safety Department’s House of Worship Resource Guide. This guide helps protect people, places of worship, and peace of mind.
This program works with churches and houses of worship across Monroe to improve safety and emergency planning. It is designed for groups of all sizes and provides simple tools, expert advice, and hands-on training to help prepare for unexpected events.
Organizations in this program can take part in training that builds awareness, improves response, and supports a culture of safety within each congregation. Participation helps create a safer and stronger community.
Customized training is available for houses of worship. Topics include emergency planning and how to respond to potential threats. Support is available at every step.
